New year, same great greens! With our grown-to-order system, your microgreens are planted the day you order, nurtured for 11 days, and harvested fresh just for you. Deliveries go out every Tuesday, and you can schedule your orders up to three months in advance.

🥣 Winter Recipe Spotlight: Apple-Quinoa Breakfast Bowl

Start your chilly mornings with a warm, hearty, and nutrient-packed breakfast! This Apple-Quinoa Breakfast Bowl is easy to make and includes a touch of microgreens for added flavor and health benefits.

Ingredients:

  • 1-2 tsp freeze-dried sulforaphane microgreens
  • 1/2 cup raw quinoa
  • 1 large apple (peeled and diced)
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup raisins
  • 1-2/3 cup water
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 tbsp coconut butter
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • Whole milk (or dairy-free unsweetened milk)
  • Your choice of nut topping

Instructions:

  1. Peel and dice the apple; set aside.
  2. In a small pot, bring water to a boil, then reduce to a low simmer.
  3. Add quinoa, apple, salt, raisins, and freeze-dried microgreens. Cover and simmer for 40 minutes.
  4. Turn off the heat and let the quinoa sit, covered, for an additional 20 minutes. If too thin, bring back to a boil and stir until fluffy.
  5. Stir in cinnamon, vanilla, coconut butter, and your desired sweetener (e.g., maple syrup). Top with nuts and a splash of milk.
